This area has always been at the epicenter of events. Its narrow streets, steeped in history, remember everything: the Gallic tribes under the yoke of the Romans and the birth of Paris, gladiatorial fights, the emergence of the first churches and cathedrals, the appearance of the famous Sorbonne, the kings of France and the heroes of the novels of Alexandre Dumas, the first sparks of the revolution and its flame.
On our excursion you will find out where Ernest Hemingway wrote his works, what Saint Genevieve did for the city, how the only Rococo church was preserved, and even in which cafe Napoleon Bonaparte paid with his cocked hat!
During a tour of the Latin Quarter, we will look into the Luxembourg Gardens, admire the Pantheon, walk along the oldest Pont Neuf and find out where the filming of the film “Midnight in Paris” took place.
And we will end with the legend of the Holy Grail and other treasures of the Knights Templar in a secret place on the Ile de la Cité, with an incredible view. Where you will definitely want to return to watch the most beautiful sunset in Paris!
